The latest details have emerged on the Left 4 Dead official website revealing the exact release date of The Last Stand update, which is expected to come out on Steam next week, on September 24.

The map was eventually modded into Left 4 Dead 2, but it is now coming to the game as an official update.
The Last Stand was announced at the end of August via a short teaser showcasing a familiar environment from an eponymous community-created survival map for the original Left 4 Dead.
After being briefly teased back in August, the update has finally received proper details and a release date. Left 4 Dead 2 is about to receive its first content update in eight years, a massive community-developed campaign The Last Stand.
